A bottle sorting application was one of the µCrons demonstrators. The testbed was built out of different mechatronic components (i.e. gripper, pneumatic cylinders, sensors ...) equipped with two different micro controller platforms (Digi ConntectME & Beck IPC@Chip) together with the µCrons middlware.

The distributed energy management demonstrator which was developed during the project represents a stand alone autonomous energy network which is typically used in weekend houses, alpine resorts or for rural electrification purposes.
